hello,
i have already an irtrans usb connected and powered via the usb.
I control my equipment with this module.

Now i would like to extend to 3 others equipments. They are placed in other rooms at 1st level.

i read documents and your web site.
The best solution is to have 3 irtrans bus modules. Is it true ?
Can these 3 irtrans bus modules be powered by the irtrans usb module?
Do i need a power supply ?
Connected to usb module or bus module ?

Hi,
there are two ways to handle this installation:

- Use 3 Bus modules connected to the USB module
- Using 3 Ethernet modules in addition to the USB Module

The USB module cannot power bus modules - the USB cannot supply enough current. Therefore a power supply is needed.
It can be connected to any device, either the USB device or one of the bus modules.
