So i've read that xbmc support is now in the irserver part, is there any more documentation on this? Because i only have the tray lan icon (for the irtrans XL)

Hi,
currently IR Control for XBMX is supported. By default it uses the MS Mediacenter remote control.

The key mapping is defined in the file apps.cfg. It can be changed to use a different remote control.
It supports LINUX and Windows.

To activate the XBMX support add the "-xbmc" parameter to the list of parameters when starting the irserver / irtranstray.

For a moment there i thought it could be IP based.. in theory you could define a device with a ip, and instead of a ir signal send a string via http.. but thats way out of scope i think :)

The XBMC Interface is UDP based. The irserver sends UDP commands to the XBMC.

In addition it can start XBMC.
