Bus problem

Hi there!

I installed 2 IRTrans Ethernet devices w/o DB and successfully can control one of them on bus 0 via command line:
"IRClient.exe localhost device comman 0 0 E".

If I'm trying to control device 2 on bus 1 with "IRClient.exe localhost device comman 0 1 E" I'm always confronted
with the error message "IR Error: Specified Bus does not exist".

Both devices are identified by the server; shown on IRTranstray LAN diagnostics (Windows) and IRClient status
(command line). If I'm configuring the .rem-file for the IRTrans Client with the SDEVICE-Parameter, I can choose
between Bus 0 and 1.

The IRServer is started with the parameters "-http_port 1111 IP1;IP2"; the software versions are the latest.

Is there any way to get rid of the error? :?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
that is strange, the syntax is correct and should work.

Please start the irserver with the additional options "-loglevel 4" and send us a screenshot what happens when you are sending to bus 0 and to bus 1.

The screenshot should also include software and firmware versions.

Hello again,

here comes the screenshot while running the client trying to access both devices.
I hope this is helpful.

Best regards!

Strange - looks like bus 1 gets identified as bus 2 by the irserver. Looks like a bug in the irclient.exe.

We will check that here.

Please send us an Email to support@irtrans.de so that we can then send you a patched irclient.exe.
