Can I turn off IR receiving on Ethernet IRTrans

How can I disable IR receiving on a module? I want IR transmit only.
I'm hoping this is possible and that I simply missed it in the directions.

If not possible, is there another module I should be considering?
I'm on a Mac with iRed2 and want a module to control my equipment and to
totally ignore any IR received from the handheld remotes.
At the moment I achieve that result by 'hiding' the module and using an external transmitter.

Memory lapse, when an external transmitter is used is the built-in transmitter still active?
I'm hoping that if I can make the module a 'transmit only' that I can use the internal transmitter
at the same time as the external so that I can broaden my coverage a bit.

Sorry about asking questions that could easily be answered by trial and error but if I mess up
by messing with the Family TV I'm in BIG trouble and jeopardize adding more stuff :)

TIA

Edit:
I think I have it figured out. Did some re-reading of manuals and some configuring via the
web interface. Now for some testing without upsetting family :)
If I understand the docs correctly internal and external IR transmitters can both be active/in use
but IR receiving is either internal or external, not both. /fingers and toes crossed.

Hi,
that is correct.

- IR Receiving can be disabled alltogether via the web interface
- External and Internal Receivers cannot be used at the same time (Either Internal or external or Off)
- Internal and External Transmitter can be enabled and disabled via SW or Web Interface
