IRTrans and Mac Snow Leopard

Postby vashka0310 » Fri 29. Jan 2010, 20:22

IRTrans works fine with snow leopard running in the 32bit mode. However, if I boot into the 64bit mode of the OS my computer cannot see the IRTrans. Are there any drivers available for the IRTrans that allow it to be seen by the 64bit Snow Leopard?

hello Together
I have the same problem!
in 32 bit ir trans with usb and B&O has a fine functionality
My irtrans is an older model in blue case.
in 64 bit the ired software dont recognize the transmitter who is connected to USB!

Perhaps someone knows a solution for this problem, because it is very fine to control my B&O from my mac from my writing desk!

regards
Peter

Fortunately, there is a new driver version 2.2.14 available from FTDI's website.
Please install, reboot your Mac, and USB modules are recoginzed and working on 64-bit systems.

Cheers, Robert
